When do I need an international driver's license?

For safety reasons, we regretfully cannot accept driver's licenses that are not issued in Latin script. This ensures that there are no misunderstandings and that we can accurately record your information.
If your driver's license is not in Latin script, you will need an international driver's license. The international driver's license serves as a translation of your national driver's license and confirms your driving privileges in various languages, including English. This makes it easier for us to verify your driver's license and allows you to rent one of our vehicles.

You can apply for an international driver's license at your local driver's license office or at the road traffic department in your country.
