No connection to the car in the underground car park. What can I do?

The digital key works via Bluetooth and generally does not need an internet connection. You only need internet once: to start your rental and download the key to your phone.

Most important: Start your rental while you still have a stable internet connection, for example before you enter the underground car park. That way the key is already on your phone, and you can unlock the car via Bluetooth afterwards, even without a network.

Haven't started your rental yet and already have no signal in the car park?

1. Go to a spot with better reception and start your rental there in the app.
2. Log out and log back in once so the app can sync.
3. Turn on airplane mode, but keep Bluetooth switched on.
4. Walk to the driver's door of the car with your phone. This helps the Bluetooth connection along.
5. Be patient: it can take up to 15 minutes for the connection to stabilise. The message saying it's "taking longer than usual" will disappear automatically once you're connected.
6. Stay in airplane mode until you leave the car park, so the connection isn't interrupted.
